Senior Structural Designer

BSP is seeking experienced Senior Structural Designers interested in working with a large resource company. This contract position is located in the Perth CBD.

Essential

• A Designer/Drafting qualification;
• At least 5 years experience in design for engineering projects within the mining or resources industry;
• Previous experience in a Senior role;
• CAD certification or skills; and
• Experience on an EPCM is desirable.

Required Competencies / Skills

• Ability to adhere to corporate/project drawing office standards;
• Ability to arrange/prepare drawings based on engineering design inputs;
• Knowledge of drafting requirements for multiple disciplines;
• Ability to negotiate and achieve favourable outcomes;
• Ability to impart skills/knowledge to others; and
• Ability to mentor to subordinate designers.
