Controls System Engineer

BSP is seeking experienced Controls System Engineers interested in working with a large resource company in the Perth CBD.

The Control System Engineer will be a key member of a dynamic team providing competent technical support in relation to design and engineering services for controls engineering projects.

Essential

It is essential that you have:

• An Engineering qualification;
• At least 4 years professional experience within the mining or resources industry;
• Demonstrated experience in PLC programming and commissioning in a materials handling environment;
• Previous experience on EPCM Projects; and
• Your experience with Citect, ControlLogix PLCs, or GE 90/70 PLCs will be highly regarded.

Required Competencies / Skills

• Ability to undertake design and engineering of concepts;
• Ability to think analytically and logically;
• Ability to assess project risks and understand associated contingencies;
• Ability to form & foster collaborative relationships within the business and externally;
• Understanding of HSE regulations and standards; and
• Ability to implement scope control measures.
